We did a lot of finding this week, just like at home in PG. Contacting all day, tracting a few hours every night. Its crazy how many people are here, the population jumped from around 120,000 to a million ish. The buildings here are super cool as well. They're all intricate and stuff. Our area is in center so theres this street called Ilica that we live just off of and its giant and huge and has a billion people. Also there's trams here to ride on so that's wierd. We don't just walk everywhere. We found a few cool people this week, but it was a tough weekend because it's easter and everyone is not wanting to talk cuz theyre in holiday mood. General Conference was great! It was a bit tough to understand because it was all in Croatian rather than Serbian and even though theyre really close, they switch out random words and they have different grammar. The accent is the worst though. Its weird breaking up when words start and end. It will be fine in a week or two prolly but for now its just a little weird. I have been dropping all of my Serbian words out of habit as well and people get mad at me. Oh well its coming.
Weirdest thing: theres like 40 or 50 active members here. Thats like 39 or 49 more than normal. Woah. Like 7 or 8ish showed up to General Conference and it was really crazy seeing LDS people. Im not used to it at all. Now i can actually talk with people in the language longer than a short contacting approach. YAY!!
Its good stuff here, lovin it, the church is true, have a good one everyone!
