The big miracle of the week was referrals. We got 4 this week, which is more than the rest of my mission combined. Two from the book fair last week, one from the sisters, and one from members. We were able to meet with one of the book fair ones, the first lesson of the transfer! It was tight. Hes a chill muslim dude who was really nice, and liked the Book of Mormon. We explained it to him a bit and he said he would read. Then the member referral. He is 18 and has some buddies in this branch and in Sremska, and was introduced to the church by them. He went to a party in Sremska last week and my previous mini missionary comp sat him down and talked to him about the gospel. And the referral said he wanted to be baptized! So he came to church there and again here in BG this sunday and we talked to him and he is the stud of the world. Just a chill kid all around. Already religious, enjoyed church, and has a lot of friends in the church. Im stoked for him.
In other news, our boiler should be fixed this week hopefully. We have gone a few weeks showering in freezing water which isnt fun in the winter. Rough beans. We also have zone conference and a meeting for the greenies this week so it will be chill as.
Oh and the subject comes from this story: we went to a members house this week who is from Ghana. He is a good cook, but is famous for his peanut butter soup, a Ghana specific recipe. So after taking careful notes, I now know how it is brought to pass. Be excited, family!
The work is movin, the jams are groovin (we got our christmas music goin this week;) ). This place is the best.
Have a good week y'all. Much love.
