This week I was made Zone Leader, so we will see how that responsibility goes. I'm glad for the opportunity to serve, especially because it makes time go quicker. And I seriously can't wait until I get on the plane to leave the U.S.
On Sunday, Elder Oaks' daughter, Jenny Oaks Baker, spoke at the fireside. She pretty much just told multiple accounts where she prayed and won some violin competition because she dedicated her life to violin. But her husband got up for a bit and he was way good I enjoyed his part.
This week we have been attempting a week long English Fast. It burned and died on day one but we still speak more Croatian every day than we did before which is nice. Prososki thinks that we are going to get to Croatia and not understand anything and it makes me super nervous but I want to prove him wrong.
If you are my mother, skip this paragraph please as it contains content that you would not enjoy. This week I have been diagnosed with a disease that I don't remember the name of because its very long and doctory. But pretty much I'm covered in welts and rashes on my chest stomach and back. Young adults randomly contract a virus that gives them this disease but nobody knows how. Its not contagious which is cool and its not permanent which is cooler! I had to blow 10 bucks on some medicine which was unfortunate but we got to go off MTC campus to get it which was so cool because I have only seen these walls for a month and I'm starting to go crazy! Also I got knocked out this week playing basketball because I got headbutted on the chin on accident. So that was fun.
That't about it for this week. We are all high strung and nervous and we seriously need to get out of here. And we're half way!
