First, I went on exchange with Elder Fisher from Tuesday night to Friday morning and it was a blast. We just got shut down over and over and we didn't care and just kept trucking through it. Then we took a break and went and I showed him the inside of the crazy Orthodox temple. It was great. Also we made really good chowder and that was a good thing. The second day of the exchange was super rainy so pretty much we were in the church with the other elders but we made it fun. It was so rainy and windy that we only had 1 person show up for English that night, a guy named Marko who is part of the gang and already knows great English. SO we took him bowling. It was a good night haha.
Saturday night was one of the greatest things ever. Background story: Sister Taylor's birthday was 2 weeks ago and we had stuff all planned out to make her dinner the night before. However, Elder Poore, Fisher, and Sister Taylor all got sick so it didn't turn out. But we did it on Saturday, the night before Women's day (idk why but they go all out for Women's day here it's super crazy)! I headed the project of making punjena paprika which is peppers stuffed with rice and meat and its dang good stuff. Family, look forward to when I get back cuz Im making it for you all the night I get back. Anyway, I used Snezana's recipe and it was great stuff.
Then on Sunday, we had President Lotric, a Slovene guy in the mission presidency, come to church and then to lunch at the Taylors afterward. Him and his wife are super cool and he gave the talk and taught the lesson for church. Both of them were studly. It was a really good experience to meet him and hear from him.
That's about it this week, be cool everyone!
