It has been an interesting week. On Tuesday the streets of Podgorica flooded due to too much rain. So we spent the day at the church. We had lunch and met the new senior couple. They are the Taylors and they seem really cool. We were all sad to see the Westwoods go but we think that the Taylors will do a good job. After we met them we had meetings, and then we did family history indexing. By the way, people that complain about doing English ones should try doing them in 1850s Croatian because that stuff is intense! Especially when you don't speak the language haha!
On Thursday we hosted a party at the church for a farewell to the Westwoods and welcome to the Taylors. All of the humanitarian people from around Montenegro came and it was crazy! We had 50 people there outside of the missionaries and that was definitely the most we have seen in the church at once.
On Sunday, the awesomest thing happened. Vaselj, a very less active member that missionaries here have been trying to get to come to church since he was baptized, came! It was so cool, and we were really excited. He was the first member here and he is willing to meet all the time but never comes to church so it was good to see him there.
Yesterday was the craziest. We flew to Belgrade, then drove 3.5 hours to Zagreb because Elder Wilson was going home, Elder Lowis needed to pick up his greenie, and Elder Hixon had a meeting for the district leaders throughout the mission. So he had a 3 hour meeting, then we drove 3.5 hours back to Belgrade and got there around 10. We woke up early this morning and caught a flight back to Podgorica, which we almost missed but it worked out.
So yeah crazy week. Got a trip just for the ride and it was just a cool week. I'm excited for this week and excited for the transfer. I hope everyone has a good week!
