We had an exchange and it was really long and pretty tough but I learned a lot so I'm happy with it. It was with the greenie again so I was doing the talking. We had a lot of fairly promising English class invitations but it was a tough day for real contacting. We didn't get anyone to talk to us in about 4 hours. But that's ok because we have had more than usual lately!
The biggest success of the week in my opinion belongs to the Taylors, the new senior couple.
When they heard they were being called to MNE they immediately thought of an exchange student that their friend had 20 years ago. She was from Podgorica and had been taught by the missionaries when she was in the US. After talking with her parents, they decided not to baptize her because the church didn't exist in MNE at the time. Anyway, they decided to tell us so we could try to find her because she is still living here and working as a lawyer. There were only two problems. First, there are a ton of lawyers here because to be a practicing lawyer it only takes like 2 years after high school. Just like the doctors. Safe right? Anyway, the second was that we didn't know her last name. Nobody could pronounce it so they just called her Anne of Green Gabels because her name is Ana and her last name starts with G. So the Taylors got in contact with people who got in contact with people all the way down the line until now, they were able to get into contact with Ana through her associates in the US! We are all super pumped about that and we hope that it will go well, we don't want to pounce even though she wanted to be baptized 20 years ago but the Taylors will meet up with her probably this week!
People go places for reasons. Its so crazy because if this turns out good we never would have found this lead without the Taylors getting called here. Also the missionaries that planted the seed back in Idaho 20 years ago, that paid off too. It has really been a testimony builder to me about the no effort is wasted because sometimes it's hard to get seeds in! But it will all pay off! Hope everyone has a great week! Love you all!
Also, shoutout to my totally serendipitous sister for finishing her mission in the Hawaii, Honolulu mission! What a studdd! Don't get married till I get back! Love you and awesome job!
